” The Talanta Hela” is a government talent development initiative anchored in the Kenya Kwanza manifesto and spearheaded by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, The Arts and Sports. The Talanta Hela Initiative aims at monetizing talents in Kenya by identifying, nurturing and developing them; thus, enabling youth to earn a decent livelihood. The Talanta Hela sports segment is being implemented by the Kenya Academy of Sports in collaboration with other key stakeholders. So far the initiative has successfully rolled out two programs :The National Sports Talent Camp and the Talanta Hela Football Tournament.
