Today, the Kenya Academy of Sports (KAS) Digital Hub welcomed officials from the French Development Agency (AFD) as they explored opportunities to enhance sports talent development in Kenya through strategic partnerships.

This visit builds on the strong foundation established during their previous collaboration, which included the construction of a state-of-the-art basketball court at KAS. It aimed to evaluate the hub’s operations and identify ways to expand its reach and impact.

AFD envisions leveraging the hub’s capabilities to provide comprehensive digital training programs for athletes and coaches, equipping them with essential skills for the modern sporting world. Beyond sports, the hub also serves the broader community, offering technological services that foster inclusivity and empowerment.

Looking ahead, AFD plans to collaborate with KAS to replicate the success of this initiative in other regions, ensuring that sports development and digital training become accessible to more young athletes across the country.

This partnership represents a shared commitment to advancing sports through technology, innovation, and collaboration, ultimately transforming the lives of Kenyan athletes and their communities.
